Intertraffic China 2026 Kicks Off in Shanghai, Spotlighting Advanced Reflective Material Manufacturing

June 10, 2026

SHANGHAI, June 3, 2026 — Lianxing Reflective Material CoLd 19th International Exhibition on Transportation Engineering, Intelligent Transportation Technology and Facilities (Intertraffic China 2026) officially opened today at the South Hall of Shanghai Automotive Exhibition Center, running from June 3 to June 5, 2026. The venue is located at No.7575 Boyuan Road, Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai, serving as a core gathering hub for global transportation industry players.

As a flagship global event under the Intertraffic exhibition series, this year’s expo builds a full industrial chain display platform covering intelligent transport, road safety, infrastructure construction, traffic management and parking solutions. Reflective material manufacturing stands out as a vital safety-focused segment, drawing dozens of professional manufacturers showcasing retroreflective sheeting, vehicle conspicuity tapes, road marking films, micro-prism reflective products and related raw materials—core components that drastically boost visibility for roads, trucks, buses, highway guardrails and traffic signage day and night.
Retroreflective products act as critical passive safety gear: micro-prism and glass bead reflective materials bounce vehicle headlight light back to drivers, extending sight distance and cutting nighttime road crash risks significantly, especially under rainy, foggy or low-light driving conditions. Exhibitors at the show presented upgraded, durable, weather-resistant reflective tapes compliant with international standards like ECE 104 (marked I.3952/5 as seen on premium vehicle reflective rolls), engineered for long service life on commercial fleets and highway infrastructure.

Industry insiders noted robust market demand growth for high-performance reflective materials, fueled by stricter global traffic safety regulations and the rapid expansion of freight, new energy commercial vehicle and highway networks across Asia, Europe and Southeast Asia. Many reflective material producers at the expo scheduled face-to-face negotiations with overseas distributors, infrastructure contractors and automotive OEMs to strike long-term supply partnerships.

The exhibition will remain open to professional visitors until June 5 at Shanghai Automotive Exhibition Center (South Hall), Anting Jiading, Shanghai.
